Just look at all those HST's!
We enjoyed having our son home for a week and are even more excited that he will be back again in just a couple of weeks after finals AND he will be home for a whole month. I hope I am still that excited at the end of that month. I sometimes forget what it is like to be so young and full of energy. He is really a great young man and I can't wait to see what the world holds for him.
Hop on back to Judy's blog to see what everyone else is doing.
Beautiful fabrics. Looks nice just as it is.
ReplyDeleteOur youngest son is moving back home in a couple of weeks. His scholarship ran out and he forgot to reapply in time for another one. He is taking out a student loan for next semester and figured that is debt enough for now. So he will finish this school year living at home, hoping to save enough for next semester--or get his scholarship application in on time. He, too, is a great young man and we love him to pieces, but all of that youth and enthusiasm certainly does change the dynamic of the home where we were just getting used to the idea of being a couple of quiet, boring empty-nesters.
Those are really lovely fabrics. Can't wait to see it all come together. Glad you had a wonderful visit with your son and another visit soon to look forward to.
ReplyDeletePretty quilt! Kids who leave and then come back are very different--living on their own changes them, of course, and there's adjustments to be made! Our son has been living back with us for a year and he really wants his own place but is really too comfortable here to work at it all that hard :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty quilt! Have a great Christmas break!!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful colors and fabrics. isn't it fun to see how kids grow up after being away from home. Can't wait for mine to come home.
