Designing Monday - 4th of July

Happy 4th, everybody!!!  I am looking forward to the fantastic fireworks tonight.  It is always one of the highlights of our year.  We always go early and stake out our place and then people watch until it's time for the show.  It's amazing how many people we see that we haven't seen in many moons.

I finished the last row of my Florida Row by Row quilt.

Here is a closeup of the bright sun.

I still have one more piece to applique on Row 3, but I haven't unearthed the perfect fabric from my stash for that piece.  I will just have to keep looking.  Now that I am almost done with the applique, I am ready to get it all sewn together.  Yea!!

Enjoy your day and hop over to Judy's blog to see more beautiful designs.

There is also a cute free design available at p3designs.com for the holiday.  Be sure to check it out.  It is only available until midnight tonite.
