Another Finish

It feels so good to type those words 'Another Finish.' I really like that sense of accomplishment when the last stitch goes in the binding. I tried to get it done for the Saturday Jo Morton Little Womens' Club at the LQS, but got thru most of the quilting and had a do-over, so I was late in finishing, but not to worry, I was the only one in the group of 8 who actually brought the quilt in. Several people brought other things they had been working on and one lady brought quilt books to pass around and another lady brought pictures from a magazine of some Jo Morton quilts. This is the first time I have joined a group like this, so I am a little perplexed. I thought the point was to finish a quilt a month and share the results. So far I am the only one to complete either of the first two quilts. But it is still nice to meet some new people and see what they are working on. Anybody else have a similar experience?

  1. I love this one, I think it is the red fabric that sets it off. You are a busy bee! Glad you are over the gonk...Jess is just today finally feeling better.

  2. What a beautiful little quilt!
I belong to a club too - not Jo Morton (but I wish) Some finish their projects and some don't. I make it a point to finish which is why I joined the club in the first place ;)

Perhaps now you will have inspired others to finish a project before class.
Can't wait to see your next finished project!

  3. I have been in a LQS BOM and every one had those finished but have never been in that kind of group.
Another LQS is talking about starting a Jo Morton group. If they do I might check it out.
