Doll Quilt

The November quilt for the Jo Morton Little Women's Club is a doll quilt. I used a collection of fabric that I purchased from Connecting Threads several years ago. The top is pieced. It is small so I was able to cut and piece it in an afternoon. I am thinking of hand quilting it.

  1. It's a pretty quilt. Hand quilting a small project is all I do anymore, large things go on the longarm.

  2. This is a beauty, and I think hand-quilting would be the perfect finish!

  3. Oh it's beautiful. I usually don't like blues too much, but these are just the right color of blue I do like. Not that it matters what I like! I didn't mean that at all. Just rambling. I just think they look nice on this cute doll quilt.

If you do a lot of hand quilting. Caron of Michigan Quilts is gathering a list of hand quilters. It surely is an art that I would hate to see die out. There is a button on my blog if you care to take a look. Here's the link: http://blog.caronmosey.com/2011/10/hand-quilters-unite.html
